FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you accept health insurance?

The Body Lab treatments are all elective procedures. Therefore, insurance policies usually do not cover them. We accept cash and credit. Plus, ask us about our third-party financing options as well.

  • What is the difference between a MedSpa and a Salon?

Unlike a salon, The Body Lab Med Spa offers beauty and aesthetic services for women and men that are required to be performed under the supervision of an experienced and qualified physician. This ensures greater attention to important medical details, reduced risk of side effects, and an overall quality outcome. Hair transplantations are surgeries that take hair follicles from one part of your scalp, usually from the back or sides, and implant them into balding areas. The results of these surgeries have improved significantly since they were first performed in 1939Trusted Source.

The two most common techniques of hair transplantation are called follicular unit transplantation (FUT) and follicular unit excision (FUE). Both have the potential to deliver natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing results.

NeoGraft is a semi-automated version of FUE and one of the most modern hair implantations techniques. It’s touted to be more effective than other FUE techniques by removing some human error associated with the surgery.

  • What treatments are available at The Body Lab?

The Body Lab offers an array of treatments to address various aesthetic concerns, including hair loss, body contouring, fat melting, laser hair removal, and more.

  • Who administers the treatments at The Body Lab?

Treatments are administered by trained and experienced professionals. Additionally,  a licensed physician oversees all treatments and procedures to ensure a safe and quality outcome each time.

  • How does the process work when visiting The Body Lab?

When you visit us, we will ask you to complete some forms before being escorted to a treatment room for a consultation. During your consultation, we can explore treatment options based on your specific areas of concern and make the right recommendations for you.

In some cases, patients can receive the treatment right after the consultation. Other times, some preparation is required and an appointment may be scheduled for a future date.

  • How much downtime is needed after treatment?

Downtime will vary depending on the type of procedure that you undergo, and we will discuss our recommendations with you during your consultation. In many cases, treatments do not require any downtime at all after the procedure. However, for the treatments that do require some downtime, we will provide specific guidelines for you to follow.
